Biography

Ning Wang conducts research in human-computer interaction for improving human-AI alliances. Previously she was a research assistant professor at the Computer Science department of the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering at Arizona State University. She received her B.S. in Computer Science and Technology from Hunan University, and later joined the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Auburn University as a researcher and a master's student major in human-computer interaction. She completed her Ph.D. thesis on computational social intelligence in pedagogical agents at the Center for Advanced Research in Technology for Education of the Information Sciences Institute at USC in 2008. Her research interests include AI education, explainable AI, pedagogical agents, game-based learning, and computational social intelligence.
